  The ReStructure Philosophy

  We believe that old buildings of significance are worth saving and that any structure that has not fallen down can be saved. There are old buildings that are just that, "old buildings" and are not of historical, family or architectural significance. These can be sacrificed for the "new and modern." The other structures can and should be saved. We are not purists but believe that an old building should be renovated to meet the modern needs of the occupants, interiors made to fill the space requirements, kitchens made beautiful and functional, and additions made to look like they were always part of the building.

  

  Who is the ReStructure Company, Inc.?

  We are members of both the Holbrook, Massachusetts and National Historical Societies. We are licensed Massachusetts Builders, Renovation Contractors and have restored all or part of antique buildings from Boston to Cape Cod. The oldest building was a 1690 cape in Plymouth Massachusetts. We also do:

• Structural repair, underpinning and building realignment.
• Modern structural work with wood, glue laminate and steel beams, brick and block masonry, and concrete.
• Stone work with both existing stone or field stone.
• Wood restoration including woodwork, wide board floors and timber framing.

  With hydraulic jacks, steel post shores, steel cables we can align, raise and pull together homes and buildings that have sagged, opened up or settled beyond quaintness or safety standards.
